Services

The Heritage Porsche Project provides practical Porsche-focused services for owners, buyers, drivers, and enthusiasts who want to make better decisions about their cars.

Our work focuses on three connected areas: helping buyers understand a Porsche before purchase, rebuilding air-cooled engines with the right purpose in mind, and preparing cars for HPDE and autocross events.

Used Porsche Buyer Assistance

Buying a used Porsche should be exciting, not a gamble. The Heritage Porsche Project helps buyers review listings, understand model-specific risks, evaluate modifications, identify inspection priorities, and prepare for a more useful pre-purchase inspection. The goal is to help you understand what you are looking at before you commit, so the car you buy fits your budget, your goals, and the story you want to build with it.

Air-Cooled Engine Rebuilding

The Heritage Porsche Project provides air-cooled engine rebuilding services, from stock to mild to wild, with a special focus on the Type 4 platform. Whether the goal is a factory-style rebuild, a stronger street engine, or a more aggressive performance build, the process starts with the car’s intended use, careful inspection, honest parts selection, and a build plan that matches the owner’s goals.

HPDE and Autocross Inspection and Preparation Services

Before an HPDE or autocross event, your Porsche needs to be safe, properly maintained, and ready for performance driving. TJ Tryon can inspect your car before the event, identify common tech inspection issues, help complete required inspection forms when the car meets the applicable requirements, and advise on preparation items such as brakes, tires, fluids, suspension, safety equipment, and event readiness.

Start With the Right Plan

Whether you are buying your first Porsche, rebuilding an air-cooled engine, or preparing for your next driving event, the right plan starts with understanding the car, the owner, the budget, and the intended use.

The Heritage Porsche Project helps preserve the cars, protect the drivers, and document the miles that made them matter.
